Dear Patriots,

Our victories may seem small.  They also may not make it “above the fold” in the news.

But, we want to celebrate and build on all the WINS!  They add up.

1- A small race in the bluest of states has surprising results.

Republicans win special election in South Toms River

QUOTE: Republican Sandford Ross won a do-over election for South Toms River Borough Council on Tuesday, defeating Democrat George Rutzler and officially ending the 2020 cycle.  A judge ordered a new election after Ross and Rutzler ended the November 2020 elected tied at 772 votes each.Ross leads Rutzler, 250 to 142, a 64%-36% margin.
This is the second win for Republicans in 2022.  The GOP won a February 15 special election in Maywood; the November 2021 election had ended in a tie.    The last of the do-over elections comes next week in Old Bridge, where a judge invalidated the 2021 election results after finding that election mailed the wrong ballots to some voters.

2- Another strong leader, Gov Kristi Noem, has banned allowing private money into the election process in South Dakota.

Gov. Noem signs bill banning private election donations

QUOTE: Gov. Kristi Noem on Wednesday signed a bill to bar state election officials from accepting donations for election operating costs, taking aim at Mark Zuckerberg’s donations that in 2020 helped officials hold elections in the midst of the pandemic.

Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, in 2020 donated $350 million nationwide to help local election offices collect and count ballots. Those donations, which were made through the Chicago-based Center for Technology and Civic Life, have been targeted in Republican-run states, spurred by anger and suspicion that Zuckerberg’s money benefited Democrats.

“Elections should be funded by government, and we will not risk creating avenues for big-tech billionaires to unfairly influence our free and open elections,” Noem said in a statement that disparaged the donations as “Zuck Bucks.”

Nye commissioners ask top county election official for all paper ballots, hand-counting

QUOTE: Nye County Nevada commissioners voted unanimously Tuesday to recommend the county clerk ditch electronic voting machines and move to all-paper, hand-counted elections for both the 2022 primary and general elections.

But facing some pushback from Nye County Clerk Sandra Merlino, those changes may not be enacted in full. Merlino said she is required by law to have one electronic voting machine at each polling location to ensure the county’s elections comply with the federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

The vote came after testimony from several prominent 2020 election deniers and conspiracy theorists who alleged — citing debunked evidence — that electronic machines used in Nevada, including Nye County, are vulnerable to cyber attacks that could change the outcome of an election.

It is also the latest attempt by a rural Nevada county to greatly overhaul election administration in response to unproven conspiracy theories about the 2020 election.

4- This week two counties rejected voting machines in favor of hand counting paper ballots.  We ARE making a difference. This war is being fought county by county.

Williamson County to switch voting machines used in May primary

QUOTE: The Williamson County (Tennessee)  Election Commission has decided to switch voting machine providers before the May 3 county primary election after Dominion scanners reportedly miscounted the ballots cast in October’s Franklin Board of Mayor and Aldermen election.

While poll workers detected the discrepancy immediately and final results were unaffected, officials still had to hand-count the votes.

State and local election officials visited Williamson County in November and December to investigate the machines used and found many ballots affected.

Furthermore, Dominion programmed the board of mayor and aldermen election incorrectly in August before election commission staff spotted the error. The company’s initial programming was based on the 2019 election, which didn’t implement multiple vote centers. Dominion had to reprogram the election.

Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett and Coordinator of Elections Mark Goins wrote a letter last month recommending that Dominion voting machines not be used in Williamson County.

5- Masking up on airplanes will be the hardest aspect of Covid-CCP for the left to give up. This is a good sign.

British Airways and Virgin Atlantic Embrace Freedom, Remove Mask Mandates on Flights

QUOTE: British Airways has become the world’s first major airline to remove mask mandates onboard the aircraft for passengers from Wednesday, in a move shortly followed by Virgin Atlantic.

Britain’s second-largest airline firm announced on Tuesday that they will no longer require passengers to wear masks on board their planes and will instead allow people to “make a personal choice” on the matter.

Virgin Atlantic also announced that they will be dropping mask requirements, albeit with a more graduated approach, by starting with removing mask requirements for passengers travelling between London or Manchester and the Caribbean from Wednesday.

“As we learn to live with Covid and with the legal requirement to wear a face mask now removed in England, we believe our customers should have the personal choice whether to wear a mask on board, on routes where international regulations around mask-wearing do not apply,” said Corneel Koster, Virgin Atlantic’s chief operating officer.

6- The majority of Americans do still possess common sense. It shows up in polling but the left succeeds in erasing and ignoring these results.

Over 60% Of Americans Back Florida’s Limits On K-3 Lessons On Sexual Orientation And Gender Identity

QUOTE: Nearly two-thirds of Americans support the key features of Florida’s H.B. 1557 “Parental Rights in Education” proposal (dubbed by Democrats as the “Don’t Say Gay” bill), according to a new poll released on Monday by The Daily Wire.

The poll results indicate that Americans across racial, party, and age lines support the Florida proposal:

• More than 6 in 10 Americans (64%) support the Florida bill’s ban on classroom instructions on sexual orientation and gender identity in grades K-3, or at any level if it is not presented in a manner that is age or developmentally appropriate. Twenty-one percent said they oppose the bill.
• The Florida measure is backed by 69% of Republicans, 62% of Democrats, and 57% of Independents. There were also no notable differences among whites (63%), blacks (66%), and Latinos (62%) or by age.
• 68% of parents support the Florida bill’s classroom instruction regulations.
In a statement to The Daily Wire, Florida House Speaker Chris Sprowls said that he was not surprised by the study’s findings.
“This polling reflects what our common sense already tells us,” Sprowls said. “Only fanatics think the classroom curriculum from kindergarten through 3rd grade should include teaching little children about gender identity.”

7- It is good to see that some of these charges are being dismissed.

In eight days, federal judge dismissed two Jan. 6 felony obstruction charges

QUOTE: A federal judge has dismissed a felony obstruction charge alleging a participant in Jan. 6 Capitol riot  attempted to prevent the certification of the 2020 Electoral College results.

The ruling Tuesday by U.S. District Judge for the D.C. Circuit Carl J. Nichols, a Trump administration appointee, marks the second time in eight days the judge has issued such a dismissal.

Nichols ruled in the case against Joseph Fischer, who works for the North Cornwall Township Police Department in Pennsylvania, that the obstruction charge does not stand.

“Nothing in Count Three (or the superseding indictment generally) alleges, let alone implies, that Fischer took some action with respect to a document, record, or other object in order to corruptly obstruct, impede or influence Congress’s certification of the electoral vote,” the judge wrote in a 10-page ruling. “The Court will therefore grant Fischer’s motion to dismiss Count Three.”

The subsection of the U.S. Code under which Fischer was initially charged is designed to prevent tampering or destruction of documents and records, not an alleged attempt at derailing the certification of the Electoral College.

Nichols on March 7 threw out the same charge in the case against Garrett Miller, of Texas, who faces 11 additional charges related to January 6.

8- Another win in court regarding the January 6 Committee.

Bannon Scores Massive Legal Victory Against Jan 6 Committee

QUOTE: The Justice Department has been ordered to provide internal documents associated with its decision to prosecute former Trump adviser Steve Bannon. This is a victory for Bannon, who maintains that he had a valid legal basis for refusing to obey a subpoena from the House’s Jan. 6 special panel.

U.S. District Court Judge Carl Nichols ordered the Justice Department to provide Bannon’s team with “statements or writings” that demonstrate how the decision to charge Bannon with contempt of Congress square with longstanding legal opinions of the Justice Department that hold that former presidential advisers are generally exempt from congressional subpoenas.
